Description

Old farmhouse replaced 1894 by new house E of barns, with adjacent dutch barn (B1).
Buildings report dated1978-1984 held at NMR (B3).
The unlisted farmhouse lies close to the road, and dates from about 1870. It is red brick, with a hipped tiled roof, and scalloped timber eaves with an ogee gutter. The chimney caps are cogged. Fenestration is of sashes in each of the two bays and there is a low picket fence enclosing the shallow front garden. To the rear of the property there is a catslide roof. A significant building within the conservation area of Fingest (B5).
