Description

Brick, single storey, utilitarian watchman’s hut, west of churchyard, on site of building present by 1879.
Significance: Service structure for security of estate. Unusual survival reflecting one element of the
panoply of country house structures at Mentmore.
Issues: Derelict, deteriorating. A local note building within the conservation area of Mentmore (B19).
