Description

Negative geophysical survey carried out by Thames Valley Archaeological Services in January 2020 in advance of residential development (B1).
Subsequent evaluation trial trenching in February 2020 discovered a single shallow ditch at least 1.6m long, 0.54m wide and 0.2m deep, aligned E-W. Medieval and post-medieval finds from the ditch fill suggest a 17th or 18th century date. See report for detail (B2).
