Description

Beaconsfield Gas Light Co. was formed in 1865 only supplying the local area. It was sold to the Uxbridge and Hillingdon Gas Consumers Co. in 1908. Gas making ceased in 1912. The gasholders were removed in 1922 and the site cleared by 1955. Nothing visible survives, site now residential development (B1).
