Description

Geophysical survey carried out by Headland Archaeology in December 2015 in advance of proposed residential development identified magnestic anomalies interpreted as a rectangular ditched enclosure 69m X 50m aligned NW-SE (B2).
Subsequent evaluation trial trenching by Cotswold Archaeology in December 2017 found the enclosure ditches and an external pit in Trenches 77, 78, 86 and 87 (B3).
