Description

Five ditches and two pits were exposed during the evaluation. None contained datable material and therefore their extent, function and age remain unknown. Three of the ditches are cut bu the furrows and, therefore, pre-date the furrows. The distinctly different fill composition suggests they represent earlier activity of a different function (B1)
