Description

Soilmark of a ringditch visible on aerial photographs. c25-30m diameter (B1).

A probable Bronze Age ring ditch is visible on historic aerial photographs as cropmarks and was mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located in a field just outside Dinton village and centred at SP 77086 10292, a ring ditch about 2 metres wide encloses an internal area about 29 metres in diameter (2).
