Description
Blast Shelter visible on a 1949 oblique AP. Now removed. Identified by UK Pillbox Study Group. EDOBID e35402 (B5)
A blast shelter or World War II date is visible on historic aerial photographs as an extant structure and was mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located on the south side of the former perimeter track at the airfield, Haddenham, and centred at SP 473555 209018. The base of the walls of the structure can still be seen on aerial photographs from 2010 but the site has been redeveloped as a car park for an office building by 2020. (6-15)
