Description

Barn 1 mainly consists of primary braced timberwork, suggesting a 19th century date. It has five bays, the easternmost of which appears to be a modern addition, or is so heavily repaired that it no longer contains any original fabric. It is timber framed with a corrugated asbestos roof and is weatherboarded except where the building is open-fronted. It is currently used for storage and as a workshop. (B1)
