PALAEOLITHIC FLAKE, POSSIBLY HAND AXE TRIMMING FLAKE, LIGHTLY ROLLED, FOUND BY MR A HALESTRAP, FIR TREE COTTAGE, SINGLEBOROUGH, 1963. In Bucks County Museum Acc No 76.63(B1-2). FIR TREE COTTAGE, FORMER HOME OF MR HALESTRAP, IS AT NGR (B3).


Fir Tree Cottage is at SP 76603183; Mr Halestrap lived there until c 1964. No further information regarding the precise site (the gardens are extensive) (B4).
