CORN DRYING OVEN, EXCAVATED BY R DUNNETT, W OF HOUSE :001, BUILT OF SQUARE TILES WITH LONG FLUE & REMAINS OF A RAISED FLOOR OVER OVEN (B9).
SUCH OVENS USED TO ROAST HULLED CEREALS TO AID THRESHING (FURTHER DISCUSSION)(B19-20).
