SHERDS, IRON AGE A FOUND IN DITCH CUTTING AT LECKHAMPSTEAD. INCLUDED 2 RIM FRAGMENTS, 1 PERHAPS FROM LUG HANDLED JAR; NUMBER OF OTHER SHERDS FROM SAME VESSEL; 1 FRAGMENT WITH CALCITIC GRITS. DATED C MID C4 - LATE C2 BC, BUT TYPE MIGHT SURVIVE TO C1 BC. & A FEW SHERDS OF SAME PERIOD, FURTHER DEFINITION IMPOSSIBLE (B1).
OS Antiquity number SP 74 SW 10 (B2).
Visit to site produced no new information. There are no obvious earthworks (B3).
