LARGE ENTRENCHMENTS AT HEDGERLEY DEAN, FROM WHERE DITCH RAN WEST TO EAST BURNHAM. LOCAL TRADITION OF SITE OF BATTLE BETWEEN THE SAXONS AND THE DANES (LYSONS 1813)(B1-3).
HEDGERLEY DEAN WAS IN FARNHAM ROYAL PARISH. NGR TO AREA OF HEDGERLEY DEAN OPPOSITE EAST BURNHAM (B4-5).
