RING DITCH OF DESTROYED BARROW, NEAR RAILWAY CUTTING & E OF CARPENTER'S ARMS (B1).
CLEARLY VISIBLE AS A DARK CIRCLE ON APS. PLOTTED AT 1:2500 (PAPER-STRIP METHOD)(B2).
NO TRACE & NO LOCAL INFORMATION (B3).

The embankment of the Princes Risborough railway line to the east of The Carpenter's Arms, Saunderton Lee, intersects what is probably a round barrow. Seen by Mr J F Head. (B1)

Barrow listed as being under the railway embankment at SP 806998. (B3)
