Description

Dimensions - Radius 26m.
Plan Form - Circular.
Large barrow levelled on Grange Farm c.1850 (B1).
Circular ditch visible on AP. Prob site of above barrow (B2).
Ring ditch clearly visible on sloping ground. Ditch is slightly concave loamy mark. Some dark soil: turf tack? (B3,B7).

Included in English Heritage's Heritage at Risk Register 2009, 2011, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023. Condition described as 'Extensive significant problems ie under plough, collapse' with the principal vulnerability from arable ploughing and trend as declining (B10-20).
