A medieval and/or post medieval windmill mound is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks and was mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located on a field boundary about 130 metres W of Manor Farm and centred at SP 76524 22186, a slightly subcircular mound is about 24.7 metres in diameter at its widest. On the centre top of the earthwork is a circular hollow or pit about 6 metres in diameter. The mound is one of two: immediately adjacent to the NE is a second windmill mound (Bucks HER No MBC3940/0132600000). The two earthworks are sited within a rectilinear depression about 51 x 27 metres. On aerial photographs taken in 2023 and recent remote sensing data (3-5).
