Description

(Area SP 925165) "Tendency for this part of field to contain a fair amount of Roman tile, broken in fairly small pieces. No marked nucleation of pieces, but did not go outside N end of field. No pottery observed. Site only 3 furlongs N of very definite villa site (CASS 01269). Visited 21.4.1953." (B1 and B3).

The site lies in a low lying field under pasture. No surface features were noted and no further finds made (B4).
