Description
Dimensions - Length 25m, Width 9m.
Plan Form - Rectangular.
St James' parish church was entirely rebuilt in local stone in 1854, on the site of the previous church; the archiect was J Tarring (B4-5).
Rebuilding was in C14 style with chancel, nave & W tower; was restored in 1901 (B8).
Became redundant in 1980, was demolished in 1982; photos filed (B7).
Buildings report held in NMR (B10).

Parish Church of St. James, in the middle of the village, was rebuilt in 1854. It contains, from the former church, the following:- Fittings- BELLS: two, 2nd by Richard Chandler, 1674. PLATE: includes small cup and cover paten of 1569. Condition - Good (B4).
