Description

SHERDS OF LATE HANDMADE BELGIC-LOOKING POT FOUND IN A SAND QUARRY NEAR THE 'SMELTING PIT' (00:000). THE FINE WHITE SAND IS AN EXCEPTIONAL DEPOSIT IN THE AREA, USED IN BRICKMAKING. POT FOUND IN FACE OF QUARRY IN OR NEAR SMELTING PIT, BUT IMPOSSIBLE TO TELL IF PIT AND URN CONTEMPORARY: QUARRYING (B1-6).
