Description

Dimensions - Length 53cm.
Plan Form - Leaf shaped.
Leaf-shaped blade; slightly curved shoulders with slots, slightly rounded midrib to blade; fish-tail tang, flanged and with long central slot (B1-2).
Found in a field in Hawridge belonging to Mr Field, Hawridge Court (B3).
Tradition states findspot at Gearey's Wood (B4).
Casts of sword (B5-8).
