WELL MADE MID-ACHEULIAN OVATE HAND AXE. WELL WORKED. STRAIGHT SIDES. UNROLLED. FOUND BY MR. ANDREW COPE, AUTUMN 1964, FALLEN FROM STEEP ROADBANK (BIBL1-2). ACCORDING TO FINDER HANDAXE PROBABLY CAME FROM TRANSPORTED ROAD METALLING. FOUND AT NGR (BIBL3)
