Plan Form - CIRCULAR
AREA FORMS PART OF MALMER'S WELL. PIT DISCOVERED DURING EXCAVATION. NEARLY CIRCULAR CHAMBER-SLIGHTLY TAPERING AT THE BOTTOM. WELL DEFINED. DIFFERENT LAYERS-CHARRED WOOD AT THE BOTTOM. THEN BONES, POTTERY& CHALK RUBBISH (BI1). PROBABLY AN IRON AGE CORN-STORAGE PIT (BI5). SEE ALSO CASS 00373.
