Description

Watermill, approx at NGR, on 1788 map (B1).
Lower Mills are extensive, used for millboard manufacture (B4).
'Paper Mill' at NGR (B5).
1 mill is for flour known as 'Old Mill', 1 of 2 mills named in 1492 & 1557, & part of Hedsor manor in 1492. Corn mill demolished 1918, adjacent paper mill burnt 1940 (B7).
Detailed historical notes and surviving remains in 1940. Foundations and wheel visible in 2006 (B11).
