SPEARHEAD,BADLY CORRODED BLADE,PART OF TIP & SOCKET MISSING.SLIGHT CENTRAL RIB.PROBABLY MEDIEVAL.FOUND BY MR W FENEMORE C.1969 WHILST BULLDOZING BANKS TO INFILL POND DURING CONSTRUCTION OF NEW FORESTRY COMMISSION TRACK.NGR TO APPROX.POSITION AS REMEMBERED BY FINDER(B1-3).


SP 72102148 approx. A Md iron socketed spearhead was found about 1968-69 by W. Fenemore in levelling some ground. Presented to Bucks Co Museum (Acc No 249.72). (B3).
