'LIMEKILN'; 'SHAFT'; 'BRICKWORKS' (B1). IMMEDIATELY S OF LIMEKILN REMAINS IS A ROUND SHAFT C.15M DEEP. MUCH BROKEN-UP LIMESTONE IN VICINITY. SHAFT FOR LIME OR CLAY? (B8). 5 SHAFTS 'OF TREMENDOUS DEPTH' APPARENTLY EXISTED HERE AT NIPLANDS (B9) .
