Description

So-called Bormer manor originated in 20 librates of land & quit-rent given in early C13 from his desmesne called Bormerefield by Gilbert de Clare to St Thomas's Hospital, Southwark. Bormers marked as farm on map of 1796 (B1).
C19 map shows Barmoor Farm at NGR, but now destroyed by Booker Airfield (B2).
