Description

ROMAN SPEARHEAD FROM THAMES OPPOSITE MARLOW. EXACT PROVENANCE NOT KNOWN. ACQUIRED BY MR UNDERHILL WHEN HAMBLEDEN MUSEUM BECAME DEFUNCT (B12).

A Roman spearhead found in the Thames opposite Marlow is in Windsor Guildhall Museum (Acc. No. 431:58). Its exact provenance is not known. Acquired by Mr. Underhill when Hambledon Museum became defunct. (B14)
