POLISHED NEOLITHIC AXE FROM THAMES AT MARLOW/BISHAM (B2).
2 FLINT AXES. 1 (AS B2 ABOVE) IS MOTTLED GREY/BROWN GROUND FLINT, UNWORN. L 168MM; W 57MM; T 26MM; WT 320G. 2 IS OCHREOUS BROWN POLISHED FLINT, L 146MM; W 68MM; T 35MM; WT 420G (B4). NEOLITHIC AXE OF PORPHYRITIC ANDESITE (B3).

Marlow. Polished flint. Ochreous-brown and ochreous. Worn. Flattered sides. L 146mm W 68mm T 35mm Wt 420 gm. Reading Museum (89.47).
Marlow. Ground flint. Mottled grey with brown patches. Edge slightly chipped. No sign of wear. L 168mm W 57mm T 26mm Wt 320 gm. London Museum (36.217/10). (B14)
