Description

Plan Form - Circular.
Tower mill built 1884 replacing unsafe timber smock mill of 1863. Old cap, machinery, fantail retained & new sails added. Ceased working 1916 & cottage built against it incorporating part of lower floor (B1-5).
Present sails not true working equipment (B6-8).
Auction notice/description March 1881 (B13).
Grade II. Tower Mill 1863; brick once tarred, now painted white, with dome cap and finial, sails and fantail. Converted to house, with adjoining cottage which is not of special interest (B14).
Buildings report held at NMR (B15).
