Description

Ditches were identified which likley formed post-medieval field boundaries. A tree throw was also identified which contined 3 sherds of medieval pottery. The 2 trenches in the eastern corner of the field targeted a geophysical anomaly of a possible former building shown on historic mapping, No building was identified, but brick rubble was present within the topsoil (B1).
