- PIT (Undated)
- BOUNDARY DITCH (19th Century - 1800 AD to 1899 AD)
Description
Two discrete positive anomalies are present in the west of the site. These are likely related to cut features, such as backfilled pits, however it is not clear whether these are natural features caused by solution of the limestone bedrock or archaeological in origin (B1).
Pits identified by geophysics survey were not seen during trial trench evaluation. A former field boundary ditch (shown on first edition OS mapping) at the eastern end of the development was identified and excavated. No finds were recovered (B2).
