Description

New school building built for Akeley C of E School, planned since the 1960s, designed by the County Architect. Originally built in the early 1970s and probably in use from September 1976 (B1).
Akeley St James C of E School was amalgamated with Chackmore St John C of E School in 2006. They became a combined school with Akeley as the Infant school and Chackmore the Junior school (B2).
