Type and Period (1)
- CLAY PIT (19th Century - 1800 AD to 1899 AD)
Description
Suggested that this could be a clay extraction pit or feature relating to Grim's ditch. Fills contained 20 sherds of pottery dated to the 19th century. This would suggest that it s most likely to be a modern extraction pit (B1).
