Built 1876-77 and designed by E. Swinfen Harris. Converted into a private house by 1994. Red brick with a red tiled roof, L-shaped with a much rebuilt jettied cross wing. On the roof is an open timber bellcote and a chimneystack with a panel depicting sgraffito sunflowers. The doors have perforated timber four-centred arches and Free Style ironwork, typical of Harris (B1).
The School was closed and the pupils sent to Padbury School by 1946 (B2).
The school was re-opend in 1955 to relieve overcrowding at Padbury School (B3) and was closed again by mid-1983 (B4).
