Description

Geophysical survey by Magnitude Surveys Ltd in March 2017 identified in the western corner of site, a discrete rectangular area of dense magnetic disturbance is bounded to the north and east by two distinct linear anomalies. The extent of this area measures approximately 30m x 35m. The correlation of these anomalies with the position of buildings recorded on historic mapping from 1810-1857 suggests may reflect demolition rubble from these structures. A strong linear anomaly that defines the northern extent occurs in the same location and is the same size as a pond shown adjacent to the the buildings (B1).
