Description

The Regent Cinema opened in November 1928 with seating for 700, and closed in 1962 (B1-3).
The cinema was demolished in 1962 and the site redeveloped for a small supermarket. [Photos in 1938, 1940s and 1962] (B4).
In 2016 the site was being redeveloped for apartments and shops.
