Description

Possible posthole was filled with subsoil and three pieces of limestone which may have been used as fairly insubstantial post packing. The pit was cut through the subsoil and stopped at the natural. Broken crockery, glass, and stoneware bottles and jars, and metal bucket were recovered from the fill (B1).
