Description
Geophysical survey carried out in June 2015 by MOLS Northampton detected a series of weak parallel linear anomalies representing furrows of medieval to post-medieval ridge and furrow cultivation. A small annular anomaly with a positve core and two broadly similar features conjoined into an '8' shape may represent firing chambers of small kilns. A strong positive anomaly, almost square in shape, may represent an area of ceramic (brick/tile) within a pit or a large deeply buried ferrous object (B1).
