Description
The engineering and ironworks of Broom & Wade Ltd was established in 1899 by Harry Broom and Jethro Wade on waste land betweem Lindsay Avenue, Dashwood Avenue and Oakridge Road (B1-2).
In 1928 the company moved to larger premises at the Bellfield Works (B3-4).
