  • FARMSTEAD (18th Century to 19th Century - 1700 AD? to 1899 AD)

Description

Historic building recording carried out by Albion Archaeology in 2012, concluded that whilst historic maps show buildings at the farm by 1813, most of the existing farm buildings were built in the 19th century, possibly in the 'High Farming' period from the 1840s to the 1870s. The farm seems to have functioned as a dairy farm with a small amount of land. See report for detail (B2).
