Description

Ditch [705] aligned NE-SW, possibly the base of a ditch. 0.95m wide and 0.10m deep. The fill contained a fragment of clay pipe and a sherd of 11th century sandy grey ware. At the south-western end of Trench 8 a spread of material was identified. A fragment of clay pipe and a sherd of 11th century sandy grey ware were recovered (B1).
