Description

Site A lies in field 22, straddling the north-western boundary of the survey area. It is represented by a series of short, magnetically positive linear anomalies which are arranged in a semi-regular grid pattern. It seems likely to comprise part of an Iron Age or Roman system of ditched enclosures (B1).
