Description

National Trust SMR 154162 - [east] Extension of the trackway carrying the parish and county boundaries. 2.5m wide at the top and 5m wide at the base, and 1.80m high. Roughly metalled earther with scrubby grass verges and slopes containing sporadic mature oaks (Boundary oaks?). The feature is undated, but does appear on the 1724 county map by Warburton.
NT SMR 154156 - [west] Roughly metalled surface and slightly rutted grass track. Southern boundary is a bank c2m in width and c 1m in height, less on its southern side (B1).
