Description

Two storey brick terrace of Rothschild estate cottages. Gabled roof laid in slate. Regularly
positioned brick chimney stacks punctuate the ridgeline which is given additional emphasis by
decorative ridgetiles.
Regular fenestration pattern of three light flush fitting timber casements painted in Rothschild
colours to ground and first floor. Painted timber doors contained beneath simple open lean-to
porches. Rothschild motif positioned at regular intervals at first floor level.
This row of cottages is a well preserved example of a form of relatively simple and modestly
articulated estate cottage found throughout Waddesdon. Local Heritage Asset in conservation area (1).
