Description

Area M- Two linear ditches orientated north-south and east-west respectively (B1)
Further ditches of Iron Age to Roman date identified during trial trench evaluation. Pottery, animal bone, tile, and ceramic building material were recovered (B2).
Area O- A strong magnetic response, to centre is not very ferrous in character. A pair of linear trends extend southward away from it (B1).
Trenching in this area identified 2 ditches, 1 gully, and 2 postholes containing late Iron Age to early Roman pottery (B2).
