Description

Semi-detached brick building positioned immediately onto the back edge of the pavement. Two and
a half storeys in height the building sits beneath a relatively steeply pitched slate roof, the ridgeline
of which runs parallel with the carriageway. Modern flat roofed dormer has been inserted into the
front roof plane. 19th century shop front to ground floor with central door. Two window openings to
first floor, original sash windows have been replaced. This building has been identified as being of local note because of the surviving 19th century shop front. Local Heritage Asset/Building of Note in conservation area (B1).
