Description

A series of former extractive pits or quarries are visible on LiDAR as extant earthworks beneath tree cover. A couple of them have been indicated on historic OS maps, but to nowhere near their full extent. Alternatively some may be a solution hollows, although it doesn't seem to be the correct geology for this (B1).
