Description

Terrace of three C19 brick cottages located hard up to the edge of the pavement on the eastern
side of The Green. Two storeys. The buildings sit beneath shallow pitched gabled roofs laid in slate.
Ridge and end stacks. Their regularly articulated elevations create strong architectural rhythms.
These cottages retain a great deal of their external character and features and, in terms of their
scale, form, massing, outline and detailing sit well within their historic context. They form part of a
group of C19 buildings that represent a period of significant change and development within the
village. Local Heritage Assets in conservation area (B1).
