Description

This group of worked flints is small and is unlikely to signify anything greater than ‘background noise’ relating to unspecific, transitory earlier prehistoric activity.
The medieval pottery was spread through the northern and central parts of Field 7. There were no real sub-clusters or patterns, and it is possible that this material was deposited through processes such as manuring. (B1)
