Description

C18/C19 cottages orientated gable onto and hard up to The Green. Constructed of timber and
plain brick (some render), this two storey building sits beneath a hipped roof laid in tile. Ridge and
end stacks. Principal elevations face southwards. Irregular fenestration pattern to right hand
cottage, greater regularity to cottage to left. Windows, doors and porches are later additions.
Despite later alterations the form, massing, scale, outline and materials of the building are in
keeping with its neighbouring historic buildings and visually it makes a positive contribution to the
character and appearance of the Conservation Area. Local Heritage Asset in conservation area (1).
